Luce di Carrara at Cersaie

The world of natural stone needed to change direction in order to allow anyone to create their own ideal marble and draw shapes, structures and architecture, without being infenced by the “sacred” monumental nature of a block of marble. Anastassiades seems to apply to marble the verse by the poet Pindaro “you become what you are”. Without betraying the essence of a material that is unique in the world, he suggests anyone can take on the leading role and express their language and creativity.
